EFEKTIFITAS KONSELING GIZI DALAM PERBAIKAN PRILAKU MAKAN ATLET SEPAK BOLA DIPUSAT PELATIHAN SMA N 1 LUHAK NAN DUO PASAMAN BARAT TAHUN 2017
Nutrition status is a measure of success in the fulfillment of nutrition for children indicated by body weight and height of children. Nutrition status is also defined as the health status generated by the balance between nutritional needs and input (Creasoft, 2010). According to Preliminary Observations conducted in 2016 found less nutritional status of under-five children in PuskesmasAnak Air, Koto Tangah sub-district (18.33%). This study aims to see how the description of the economic level, knowledge and provision of MP-ASI and its relationship to the nutritional status of children under five in PuskesmasAnak Air Kecamatan Koto Tangah. This research type is analytic with Cross Sectional design. This research was conducted in Working Area of PuskesmasAnak Air of Koto Tangah Sub-District in Mey-June 2017 which was conducted on toddlers totaling 57 samples. Sampling is done by Simple Random Sampling technique, taken from the population by using the sample formula of finite population. The data collected include nutritional status, mother's characteristics (education and occupation), economic level, mother's knowledge and the provision of MP-ASI collected by interview method through questionnaire. The collected data was processed by using SPSS program version 16 univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test with 95% confidence degree. The result of the study found that the prevalence of nutritional status of children under five is not normal equal to 63,2%, mothers with low economic level equal to 66,7%, 75,4% mother knowledge level low and giving of bad milk of milk equal to 64,9%. This study can be concluded that nutritional status is related to economic level, mother knowledge, and complementary feeding (MP-ASI). For that need more attention on nutrition problems in children under five.
