BERMAIN GAME ONLINE DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Online games reduce the positive activity that children should be living at their age of development. Children who are dependent on games activity, will affect the motivation to learn, thus reducing the time to learn and time to socialize with peers. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship of playing online games with the motivation of learning in children. This research method using descriptive research method correlation cross sectional approach. A sample of 54 respondents. The research instrument is questionnaire with some questions. Then the data is processed by using chi square test. The results of research more than half of 55.6% of children are not addicted to play online games, and half of 50% children have good motivation in learning. The result of statistical test obtained p value = 0,000 (p <α) it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between playing online games with the motivation of learning in children. It is recommended for educational institutions can become early protection Against the disruption of learning motivation in children, in order.
